May 16, 2017

Nephrotic syndrome is pided into three categories: primary nephrotic syndrome, congenital nephrotic syndrome, and secondary nephrotic syndrome.
The clinical manifestations of nephrotic syndrome have four characteristics: a large number of proteinuria, edema, hypoalbuminemia, hyperlipemia.
Proteinuria: albumin is the main component of proteinuria and other plasma protein components. The patient has more than 3.5 grams of proteinuria daily and can have lipid urine. When the glomerular filtration rate decreases, the proteinuria decreases; In the case of severe hypoalbuminemia, the amount of urine protein can be increased, and a high-protein diet increases the amount of urine protein.

Edema: patients is the most notable symptoms gradually aggravate anasarca, initial morning eyelid, facial and ankle edema, gradual development as the illness, edema can be spread to the whole body, and pleural effusion, ascites, pericardial effusion, mediastinal effusion, scrotal edema or labia, also can appear pulmonary edema.
Hypoalbuminemia: refers to the patients with serum albumin below 30 grams per liter, when liver albumin in patients with compensatory effect is not enough to compensate for the loss of urine protein quantity, will appear hypoalbuminemia.
Hyperlipidemia: hyperlipidemia is associated with low serum albumin leels, patients can show lipid urine, urine has the double refraction fat body, for it contains cholesterol or fat body tube type of epithelial cells.
